About Shiladaan

In Sanatan tradition, Shiladaan is more than an offering, it’s the moment when a devotee’s faith turns into a lasting part of God’s home. Each Shila you offer becomes a living testament of your bhakti, forever resting beneath the divine feet of Sri Salasar Balaji.

₹11,000 per Shila — contribute one or more Shilas as per your devotion.

Can life truly feel complete without offering at His sacred feet?

Imagine your children walking into this temple years from now… will they see your devotion in its very foundation? Each stone you offer today binds you eternally with Sri Salasar Balaji. Miss this moment, and your chance to leave a mark on divine history is lost forever.

Why It Matters

Atharva Veda 3.24.5

The Vedas declare that one may earn wealth with hundreds of hands but must give it away with thousands. Offering one’s resources for divine causes like temple construction ensures that wealth becomes a source of purity, not bondage.

Vamana Purana 95.38

Whoever constructs or helps in constructing a temple for Lord Vishnu liberates eight generations of ancestors and attains divine blessings for himself and his lineage.

Agni Purana (Dānam)

The offering of even a single stone (Shila) in the construction of a temple of Lord Vishnu is a supreme act of virtue. Such a devotee never returns to mortal birth again.

Ramayana (Setu Bandh Context)

Even one who placed a small stone or log in Lord Rama’s Setu (bridge) attained eternal liberation. Similarly, contributing even a single Shila in temple service brings divine perfection.

Bhagavad Gita 9.27

Whatever you do, whatever you give — offer it to the Supreme with devotion. Thus, Shiladaan becomes not just a donation, but an offering of love and surrender to the Lord.

Vishnu Dharma Sutra

Offering a stone for the temple of Lord Vishnu grants immense spiritual merit and ensures liberation from worldly suffering.
